Does that Cloned Monkey have a Soul?

Yes.  Otherwise, how could it be alive?  It couldn’t...

All I was saying, was that no matter what man does or tries to do or thinks that they can do, they are not going to thwart God’s plans or derail any part of the Plan of Salvation—whatever is created by God or man, will have exactly the right chance to become and do whatever they are supposed to do!  Nothing and nobody is going to get a raw deal...  no part of God’s Plan is going to be changed without God doing it!  You and Q are giving man too much credit and giving God not enough reverence and awe!  Our Heavenly Father is the God of our entire universe and has been for eons of time—our feeble minds can’t “throw Him a curve”!

Sure, man has taken a creation of God, used what He already have us and duplicated the form of one of His creations.  Let’s say it even is just as bright, intelligent, compassionate as a monkey that is born to a monkey dad and a monkey mom: was it born because one of the human scientists just spoke the words—commanded it to be born?  Can man create trillions of “monkeys” in the same way?  What about a new Earth to live on which to reside?  A solar system?  A galaxy?  A universe?  A man (or a woman)?  An eye?  A heart?  Gravity?  The laws of Phil’s?  The laws of logic?  The laws that allow laws?  Eternal life?  The resurrection?  The Atonement?

From The Book of Mormon, Book of Alma, chapter 26, verse 12:

Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.

Verse:

16 Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.

Do we have to be like Laman and Lemuel and neigh-say all that God does and can do?

Can God not bring to pass His works through us?  For us?

Does that mean that we can become like He is?  Yes!  Does that mean we can become like He is without Jesus Christ and His Atonement and our repentance and His grace and mercy?  No!

Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.
